My wife and I could not have been happier with the service Jeff provided for us. When we were starting this process, we really didn't know where we wanted to move and what exactly we wanted. Jeff recommended Millbridge in Waxhaw, so we met him one Saturday afternoon and took a tour of the neighborhood and WOW did it impress. We loved it the moment we saw it. Being able to build a new house in our price range was a dream come true. We were worried about when to sell our current home (with building a home it takes 5-6 months), but Jeff knew exactly when to list our home. He was fantastic lining up the photographer and stager when it was time to list our house. To say we were satisfied with how quickly he was able to get our house under contract is an understatement. Within 4 hours of the "coming soon" sign in our front yard we had an offer. 4 hours is AMAZING. Jeff has great knowledge of the area and plenty of contacts in the business so selling our house was a breeze. If I could give him 10 stars on the sell of our house I would. He was just as good with the purchase of our new house. Whenever we needed an answer from the builder, he was on it. He also helped line up getting us our own inspector before the drywall was installed. My wife and I would have never known to do that, so we were appreciative for that info. He has also recommended electricians and general handy men for little projects we want to do down the road. When we decided we wanted to build, we really didn't know much about the communities or areas of town, but had an idea which builder we wanted to use. My only reluctance in writing a testimonial for Jeff Markus is that it can’t possibly capture everything Jeff did to give us a phenomenal home sale. In short, he went beyond all previous experiences with realtors. Not only did Jeff do all the expected stuff well – he was all over the home prep, photos, and marketing – he personally attended to the many details normally handled by the homeowner because we were selling from out-of-town. Jeff coordinated with and met contractors, staged our empty home, cleaned before showings, and followed up with everyone. He also sent out weekly reports that captured all activity with the home, contextualized with the surrounding area, and provided the other agents’ comments as well. When I didn’t have answers on permits and other items, he chased them down…no drama. In the end, we had three seriously interested parties. Jeff handled the nuance of this situation like a pro, kept us informed at all times, and provided flawless counsel throughout. After going under contract for an amount we were highly satisfied with, Jeff ensured that nothing would derail our closing. After receiving an inspection report with many flagged items, he sifted through and scheduled contractors to address the highest priority stuff. He handled everything! All we did was pay invoices and rest easy knowing Jeff was on it. And when it appeared that the closing would be delayed due to coordination issues on the buyer-side, Jeff stepped in and got things on track. My experience with Jeff was a Great One! I moved from NC over 10 years, but still had a property in the Charlotte Area. I thought that it would be difficult being in different states, but Jeff made everything easy. He actually even made the process fun! He was always quick to respond and always had the answers!
